The old town is beautiful - tall towers and structures, hilly streets with so many picturesque places, great restaurants everywhere, and a market in the center. I bought some fresh lavender in the market, and they had lots of sugared orange peel and nuts to try. Jamie even went in the sea, which caused some problems with a cabbie afterwards, but all in all a good day. There is a huge wall around the old city that you could walk around on, but it costs certain amounts depending on how far you walk. We had some lunch along one of the streets with some great calamari and other sea creatures, and headed back to the port.
Our first port stop was Dubrovnik, Croatia. This was one of my favourite stops because it was so picturesque and clean. We walked from the port through the city to the cable car. This took about 30 minutes, uphill - good butt workout if nothing else. We took the cable car to the top, where there was a homeland war memorial and lookout. Beautiful view of the sea and the entire old town. Once we were back, that's exactly where we headed. Beautiful view from the lookout - had to take advantage with a selfie Homeland War monument Old Town - churches and other tall buildings - all with red roofs Clock tower - reminds me of Italy in Twilight... We saw a lot of beautiful churches Boat access just behind the town walls Lunch with giant beers and seafood
