This post is long overdue - over a week ago Matt's cousin Joni had a beautiful wedding at Steam Whistle Brewery downtown Toronto. We had some family over beforehand for cocktail hour, then headed downtown for an evening ceremony and reception. Due to the rain, the ceremony had to be inside, but it was a great space nonetheless. It stopped raining pretty soon after the ceremony ended (figures), and we were able to do a group picture outside and enjoy the patio space. The decor was beautiful, the food was incredible, and the night was filled with so much family love. Congratulations, for real cousin, and her groom, Blair, and their family - so happy for all of you! Celebratory Chalkboard Post Time to eat - great picture of Mardi so I had to put it...and classic Jamie... Of 10 pictures, this is the only one where one of them isn't talking or has their eyes closed - like father, like son! Enjoying the clean backyard with a beer Hope obviously loves the camera Yep...they're getting married... Don't they look great? Can't wait for July 20th, 2013!!! Steam Whistle!!! The Sister-in-laws of the family! Kisses...haha... Paul (brides brother) looking good Great ceremony site! Flower girls going down the aisle The bridesmaids - Tamara Rachel Erin Rhondi (and I missed Meg and Faith - ohhhh blurry photos...) The grooms side - Blair with best lady Anna, plus all his beautiful daughters (Hannah, Abby, Hailey, and Hope) The brides side - little Leena, Avery, Tamara, Rachel, Erin, Rhondi, Megan, and Faith The beautiful bride Joni coming down the aisle with her dad, John The proud mom, Connie, and grandmother, Momma looking on Listening to some beautiful readings Reading vows Listening to vows Such a loving expression on her face while the girls look on, but the best part is Leena, who about 5 minutes later got even more bored and tore her flower to shreds - it was hilarious! Family hug - this was the best part of the ceremony - I almost cried (which is saying a lot...) You may kiss the bride! Oh they kissed a few times... :) Mr & Mrs Champion!!! Sharing a quiet moment... TIme to party! Blair's mom with her four beautiful granddaughters Gorgeous Meg Getting some air between ceremony and reception Time to eat, drink, and be married! The decor was incredible - tons of candles, red peonies, mirrored vases, all on long tables - family style! About to make their entrance...probably mocking my creeper photography moments... Wow...what a stunning bride! Family listening to speeches Table decor and Anna's speech Best. Picture. Ever. The girls with Aunt Connie Family shot with a railway car behind Beautiful decor, even in the dark Continuing the family tradition with the sword Father-daughter dance Sweet. I think Matt told us to do this... The electric slide...I feel I will hear a lot of this in the Dominican next week... Pretty. Awww Matty Cousin love!!! The Bride with her Maid of Honour Haha...great end of the night!
