Bride & Groom = Kathleen & Matt!
Solo Pictures Before the Ceremony
Probably more pictures of me versus Matt, because boys do not really like to stand and pose awkwardly for pictures, but we did have a few solo shots each before we saw each other! Just like to mention my lovely photographers, Joni Allardyce and Erin Blinn - who went above and beyond on our wedding day and blew me away with some incredible pictures. Thank you so much to the both of them!
Reveal Pictures & Pre-Ceremony Shots
Matt and I chose to see each other before the ceremony. It was fun setting it all up - he came to the room and I was hiding around the corner. Joni got some fun pictures, and it relieved some of the worry about the day and it going perfectly. We then could concentrate on the true meaning of the ceremony and being together.
Post-Ceremony Formals
These are pictures in and around the church area after the ceremony. The sun only came out for about 5 minutes for a few squinty pictures and sunglasses, but the rest of the afternoon stayed perfectly overcast and wonderful for pictures I loved the rough landscape and exterior offsetting the lace and formalware style.
Herb Garden Pictures
The Royal York has a herb garden on one of the rooftops where they grow all of their own fresh herbs. There were even beehives up there where they make their own honey (luckily I did NOT get stung...for a change!). Our catering manager, Carole, mentioned that we could potentially take some pictures up there, and we are so glad we did! We had to sign waivers just to go up there (lots of uneven ground, bee issues, etc.), and it was through some random mechanical room and steep staircases, but we made it up there to a great skyline and beautiful backdrop for some bride and groom shots!
These are probably my favourite set of pictures!

End of the Night
As soon as I saw the round bench at the Royal York, I knew it would be the perfect place to take some end of the night pictures of Matt and I. Erin was gracious enough to unpack the camera and take a few last shots of us together at the end of the most incredible day and night. Thank you, Erin!
