Last year I participated in Apartment Therapy's January Cure. A recap of the month can be found HERE. I plan to do it again this year - it's simply identifying cleaning, organizing, fixing, redecorating problem spots in the house and a way to get through all of these little tasks in a month. You won't do it all, but I did a lot last year. There are many tasks that I did after the month was up that were on my list too. If you want to sign up, click the link above and subscribe - each day they'll send you an email about your project, or you can just follow the blog and they'll post what to do there if you don't want any emails. They also have a PDF so you know what's to come each day. The first day is only to make a project list. Walk around each room of your home, look at everything, and see if there's anything that needs to be repaired, cleaned, reorganized, or completely redone. In general, break things down into simple, easy tasks. This is not about a giant project (though some of mine snowballed), only little things to make your home more liveable. Here was list from last year. I ended up doing 63 of 100 things on my list. I did it in photos because that's just what I do. I just wandered around my house and took pictures, and I'll be posting the list later today!
