Today I packed up some more stuff in the den. My parents gave us more boxes and a roll of bubble wrap so I could pack all the fragile stuff. We also took on the hutch - Matt was an excellent packer and fit so much annoying glassware into a very small space - I was impressed. We also packed all our millions of serving pieces, china, and extra mugs and stuff like that. It's those little annoying things, and although it doesn't seem like a lot, we really did pack a ton! I also packed up my shoes (a big box), all the coats and stuff we aren't wearing, and all the extra blankets, towels, and bedding.
We have 5 more weekends after this, but with all the other stuff going on, I figured an early start was best!
If my memory serves me correctly, Andrew started packing the day his offer on the house was accepted, and he spent the next three and a half months (!!!) packing up and disposing of other things left by previous housemates. You're wise to start now.
The bubble wrap - you can play with it all you want once you've moved in to your new place! :)
